Victoria is a local GP who has worked in both WA and QLD. She completed her medical degree at UWA, graduating in 2003, and worked at Fremantle Hospital during her internship and resident years. She entered the General Practice training program in 2005 and did most of her training in Pinjarra and Mandurah.
Her medical interests include lifestyle medicine, preventative medicine and chronic disease management. She has completed some psychotherapy training and has developed an interest in the impact of mental health on the experience of disease for her patients.
In her spare time Victoria is a contemporary and classical dance student and likes to keep fit training and performing in various cultural events. She is a keen cook who likes to experiment with different ingredients and flavours and never strictly follow the recipes she collects. Her creative pursuits inform her clinical approach in that she tries to work with people as individuals, each with their own set of life experiences and current social challenges, and while using clinical guidelines as a foundation of care also understands that a holistic, whole person, patient centred approach is likely to result in the best outcomes.
