If you have a gold card with the Department of Veteran Affairs, your sessions with a psychologist will be fully funded by DVA. If you have a white card with the specific pre-approved mental health condition, your sessions with a psychologist will be fully funded by DVA. You will need a DVA referral from a GP or a Psychiatrist. Oqea Cares will organise the payment for all appointments directly with the DVA.

If you are self-managed or plan-managed for psychological services, your sessions with a psychologist will be fully funded by the NDIS. A service agreement with Oqea Cares will need to be completed and signed by the person managing the plan at the commencement of services.

Please note: Medicare rebates for services may also be available for up to 10 sessions per calendar year, under Medicare Better Access to Mental Health.

Please note: Oqea Cares is a private practice. You can see our psychologists without a referral, but you will need pay the full consultation fees on the day of your appointment. Psychology services fees vary depending on the length of the session and the registration type and experience of the practitioner. You will be provided confirmation of these fees prior to your first session.
