I take a down to earth and person-centred approach with a focus on understanding the person in front of me and figuring out how we can work as a team to achieve their goals. I believe that change starts through connecting with ourselves and building a holistic understanding of the events and people that have made us who we are. Once we have this understanding, we can then begin to take action with the aim of creating a life for ourselves that is fulfilling emotionally, physically, and otherwise.

I have worked in mental health across a range of areas including hospital, university, school, and youth work settings. I am open to working with people of all ages and from all walks of life.

My training and skillset

I have a Master of Clinical Psychology, a Master of Professional Psychology, and a Bachelor of Psychology with honours.
I have general registration with AHPRA and am working towards endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist.
I am a Member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and Australian Association of Psychologists Inc (AAPi).

My therapeutic approach

I take a collaborative and flexible approach to therapy designed to best fit the unique person in front of me and build upon their strengths. To do this, I tailor therapy to fit individuals by drawing upon the following evidence-based practices as appropriate and with client preferences in mind:

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
  • Schema Therapy
  • Interpersonal Therapy (IPT)
  • Metacognitive Therapy
  • Mindfulness
My client care philosophy

I believe client care is a team effort: I bring the psychological knowledge while you are the expert in yourself. I believe that change can only happen through collaboration and honesty with other people and with all parts of ourselves. I strive to create a space where people feel safe to be their authentic self and are motivated to take action towards achieving their goals even in the face of uncomfortable emotions.
